General Terms and ConditionsFees Fees are exempted of VAT. Exo (art. 44 1.s) of Luxembourg VAT law. Online Registration You will always receive a confirmation of your booking. An automatic reply will immediately follow an on-line registration and in the subsequent business days a complete confirmation will follow once your registration has been processed by our secretariat. Payment If possible, please use the on-line payment opportunity while registering for the event you want to attend. Otherwise, payments, net of all bank costs, should be made to: Account holder: Université Luxembourg-SNT-Evenement Mentioning your REGISTRATION NUMBER and your NAME + C-AGR-1056-10-K Collective remittances should always be accompanied by a list of names. Participants' Cancellation Policy Substitutions may be made at any time, by advising the Event Secretariat by written notice of any change of name. The replacement's registration fee will be subject to pricing based on his/her registration type (e.g. membership status). Cancellations should be sent by written notice to the Event Secretariat. No refund will be given for any paid registration after June 1st 2018. Refunds
Data Protection Upon registration to the conference you will be asked to provide personal data, such as name, email address, position, company, workplace and details regarding your participation to the conference's social activities. This personal data is being collected and further processed by SnT of the University of Luxembourg in order to organise the logistics and the event itself, as well as to provide you with relevant information and to keep you up-to-date about future SnT activities. The data will not be used for any other purpose and will not be retained in our systems beyond the period necessary to achieve these objectives. As the event also involves the participation of the IEEE, you can consult their privacy policy on their website for further details (https://www.ieee.org/security-privacy.html). You can withdraw your consent at any time about the processing of personal data done for the purpose stated above. You have the right to access, rectify, erase and more rights related to your personal data described on the following pages of the uni.lu website https://wwwen.uni.lu/university/data_protection/your_rights. You can exercise our rights by following the procedure of the University of Luxembourg described on the website. Liability and Insurance The Organisers will not assume any responsibility whatsoever for any damage or injury to persons or property during the event. The participants are recommended to arrange their personal travel and health insurance. Applicable Laws and Competence If no agreement can be reached, any dispute related to the commercial relation will be taken in charge by the exclusive competence of the Luxembourg's juridiction. |
